Sumit Engineering Works

Sumit Engineering Works is located over at 181 Parmanand's Chal. If you know where the Dudheshwar Police Chowki is, we are right near there, very close to the Dudheshwar Road Char Rasta. It is a lively area with people always walking by and cars honking. We have been at this specific spot for a long time. It is not a fancy factory, just a solid workshop where we get things done. Being near the police chowki makes it easy for people to find our door. We mostly deal with engineering tasks, fixing things and making parts as they are needed. The space is a bit tight sometimes because of all the tools and materials lying around, but we know where everything is kept. It is a local operation. We talk to the neighbors and sometimes share a cup of tea on the step. There is no big corporate vibe here, just the sound of machines and people working. Some days are much busier than others, especially when a big job comes in at the last minute. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of the work happens with our hands and the machines. It is a bit dusty, but that is engineering for you. We keep the doors open to let the fresh air in. It feels like home after all these years.
