We spend most of our days here in Attibele at Sector 35 D. It’s easy to find if you know where the Guest Hotel is, since we are just a short walk from there at 16/J. The morning starts with the sound of shutters going up and the smell of grease. It gets busy with the traffic coming through this part of the industrial sector. We do precision tool work, so everyone stays focused on their machines. It's not a fancy place, just a regular shop floor with noise and parts lying around in bins. Some guys have been here for years and they know the rhythm of the place. We take our tea breaks together when things slow down in the afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out, talking about whatever is happening in the news or back home. By the time evening rolls around, there is cleanup to do. We sweep the metal shavings off the floor and make sure the tools are put back. The Guest Hotel nearby always has people coming and going, which makes the street feel alive even when we are wrapping up. We have some old fans that wobble and make a clicking sound, but they help with the heat. It is just a normal life here, making sure the orders are ready and the machines are running like they should. The floor is stained from years of work, but it’s our space and we keep it as organized as we can.
