You can find Metalkarma Engineering Technologies Pvt Ltd over at No. 16, L-4 in the Attibele Industrial Area. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name for a place that’s essentially just a group of guys working with metal all day. We’ve got a good bit of space here in Attibele, which is lucky because some of the machines we use are pretty bulky. We’ve been here for several years now, and the area has grown quite a bit. It’s a lot of work keeping up with everything, from the maintenance of the lathes to making sure the floor stays somewhat clear of scrap. We don't have any polished sales pitch or a team of marketing people. Usually, it’s just me or one of the senior leads talking to whoever walks in. We do a lot of specialized engineering work that requires a bit of thinking and a lot of trial and error. Some days are better than others, especially when a tricky part finally comes out right. We have a small tea stall just down the road where we all go for breaks, and that’s where most of the actual talking happens. We aren't trying to change the world, we're just trying to make good parts and keep our families fed. It’s a practical way to spend a life, and we take some pride in seeing our components being used in bigger machines.
