Swiss Engineering

We've been based in Bommasandra for quite some time now. If you know this area, you know it's full of factories and workshops. Swiss Engineering is just one of those places where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s how it is when you’re working with machines. We spend the day looking at drawings and trying to get parts to fit together the way they should. Sometimes things break and we have to figure out why. It’s a lot of trial and error. The floor is usually covered in some kind of grease or metal shavings. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we handle the paperwork, but most of us are out on the floor. Bommasandra is a busy place to be, especially with the trucks coming and going all day long. Lunch is usually a quick affair because there is always something that needs fixing. We aren't a huge company, just a group of guys who know how to handle tools. We’ve had some of the same machines for years. They are old but they still work if you treat them right. Every morning we open up the shutters and get to work. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it done right. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out by tomorrow morning.
