Bachpan A Play School

Our play school is located in Ramaiah Colony at Plot No 16. The building is called Aalayam. It is right in Ward No 19 of Bellary. Since we deal with very young children, the place is usually full of toys and small chairs. We have some colorful mats on the floor for them to sit on during story time. Bellary gets quite dusty and hot, so we spend a fair amount of time cleaning the floors and keeping the fans running at full speed. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. It is just a house that we converted into a school space. You can usually hear the kids singing rhymes if you walk past in the morning. We don't have a lot of complex rules, just the usual stuff like making sure they eat their lunch and don't push each other while playing. The staff spends their time supervising the play area and helping the little ones with their coloring books. We don't have a big website or anything like that. People just know we are here because they live in the colony or have friends whose children come here. It is a very simple, hands-on environment. Sometimes things get a bit loud or messy, but that is expected when you have a lot of toddlers in one place. We just try to provide a safe spot for them to be during the day. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place.
