You can find us at the District Industries Centre in Udyambag, over in Belgaum. Our office is part of the CEDOK setup, and we’ve been working out of this space for quite a while now. We focus on entrepreneurship development, which means we spend a lot of time talking to people who want to start their own small businesses. It’s mostly about training and giving them the right tools to get things off the ground here in Karnataka. The office is pretty busy, especially in the mornings when folks come in for advice or to check on their training schedules. We aren't flashy. It’s a government-linked building, so it has that functional, no-nonsense look to it. Our team is small, and we’ve all been through the ups and downs of helping local startups. We see all kinds of ideas, from small shops to little manufacturing units. Being in Udyambag is good because it’s an industrial hub, so there’s plenty of activity around us. We don't use big words or fancy presentations. We just sit down with people and go through what they need to do. It feels good to see someone actually start their business after coming to see us. We’ve been at this address for years and know most of the local traders. It’s just how we work, one person at a time, trying to help the local economy grow in our own small way. We hope to keep this going for years.
