We are set up inside the Pavanpdeshpande Shri Ganesh Computers building over in Aptewada. It’s right near the old forest office in Jamkhandi. Having our institute here makes sense because people know where the old forest office is, so they can find us pretty easily. It’s a modest space, nothing too big. We share the area with the computer shop folks, so there’s always a bit of chatter and the sound of keyboards. We focus on rural development work for this part of Karnataka. Most of our day involves meeting with people or planning things out on the chalkboard we have. We don't use big corporate words or have fancy presentations. We just sit down and talk through what needs doing. The address 587 301 is our little corner of the world. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we don’t mind much. We’ve got a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they work just fine. We’re not trying to be a big city office. We’re just here in Jamkhandi, doing what we can for the local rural communities. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us drinking coffee and looking over some papers. It’s honest work and we do it without any extra fluff. Just simple people in a simple office near the forest. We don't have much to show off but we do the work that needs finishing every day.
