Our office is right in the heart of the APMC Yard. It’s a very busy place, especially when the farmers are bringing in their produce. We are located near the K H Patil Sabha Bhavan. Advance Agriculture Biological and Consumer Development Co-Operative Limited is a mouthful, so most people just call us the Co-op. We handle a lot of things for the farming community here. It’s never quiet. There is always the sound of tractors and people shouting prices. Our building is simple and practical. We don't have any expensive furniture or polished floors. The walls have some old posters about seeds and fertilizers. We spend our days talking to people and filling out forms. It’s a lot of coordination to keep things moving. Sometimes the yard gets so full you can’t even walk through the main gate. We don't have any grand mission; we just provide the biological and consumer items that people need. We drink tea from the local stall and eat our lunch when we get a spare minute. It’s a real working environment. You get to know everyone in the yard after a while. We aren't trying to impress anyone with marketing. We just focus on the daily tasks and helping out the members of the co-operative. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. The seasons dictate how busy we are, and we follow the rhythm of the market.
