Abhinandan Engineers

You can find Abhinandan Engineers at Plot No. 183/184 in Udyambag. We are right beside Mahalaxmi Foundry, which is a big landmark for people looking for us. Udyambag is a busy area, lots of metal work going on. Our place is two plots joined together, so we have a bit more room than some of the neighbors. We do engineering work here. It’s mostly just the sound of machines and people talking over them. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just take the orders and get them out the door. The foundry next door makes a lot of heat, but we have our own work to worry about. We’ve been here for years. The floor is concrete and usually covered in some kind of metal shavings. That’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor. It’s a practical setup. We know the other shop owners around here well. It’s a tight community in Udyambag. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. We don't bother with uniforms, just old clothes that can get dirty. Sometimes the fans don't work but we keep the doors open. We've got a small kettle for making tea in the afternoons. It helps when the day gets long. That is life at the shop.
