Shah Ali Abbas College

If you take the Tema To Sangriyama Road out towards Munderwa, you will eventually run into Shah Ali Abbas College. It is right there in the Basti district. The area around here is mostly open, and the road gets a bit dusty in the summer months. We are located at 272170, and most people around Basti know the turn-off to get to us. The college isn't some massive glass structure; it’s a practical building meant for students who live in these parts. We spend our mornings getting things ready before the first bus arrives. There is always something to fix, maybe a door hinge that squeaks or a light that won't turn on in the hallway. It’s just the staff and the students making the best of the day. Munderwa is a small place, so news travels fast by word of mouth rather than through fancy websites. We just focus on being there for the people who come to us from along the Sangriyama Road. The classrooms are basic, with wooden benches and plenty of chalk dust. It feels like a proper local institution where everyone knows each other’s names. You might see a cow or two wandering near the boundary wall, but that’s just life in this part of Basti. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just keep the doors open on Tema To Sangriyama Road and handle whatever the day brings. It is a long day sometimes, but we are used to the rhythm of Munderwa life now.
