Rlsm City International School

Our school, Rlsm City International School, is right by Polytechnic Chowk on NH-28 in Basti. Being near the highway means it is always busy outside. You can hear the trucks and buses going by all day long. We have got a big gate to keep the noise and the dust out as much as possible. Inside, it is a different world. We have a playground where the kids run around during their breaks, and it gets quite loud with all the laughing. The building is painted a bright color so people can spot it easily from the road. We have students who come from all over Basti and even from some of the smaller villages nearby. Managing a school this close to the main road has its challenges, like making sure everyone gets across the street safely. We spend a lot of time on the basics, teaching reading, writing, and math. The teachers use chalkboards mostly, and the rooms have simple wooden desks. It is a practical place. We don't have a lot of extra frills, but we keep the place clean and the kids busy with their work. It is just a local school trying to do a good job for the families in the area. We work hard, and we expect the students to do the same. It is a long day, but it feels good when the final bell rings and we can finally go home.
