Lakhpati Devi Ram Kishore Girls' Post Graduate College

This college for girls is situated out in Iktakawa, which is near Jakhel in the Basti district. It has been around for a while to help the local women get their higher education degrees. We offer both undergraduate and post-graduate courses here. The building is a decent size for this rural area. Most of the students come from the villages nearby. Some of them take the local bus while others just walk to the campus. It is a very quiet and peaceful place for the most part. We have different rooms set aside for the various subjects we teach. Most people find out about us through word of mouth in the Basti area. The ground outside is used for small gatherings or just sitting around during the breaks. We just try to keep a steady routine for everyone here. It is an honest place to learn.
