Swaraj Sardar

My setup is out in Baruipur, specifically in Dakshin Roy Palli. I am Swaraj Sardar and I work from here, care of D. Sardar. It is a bit of a distance from the main heart of Kolkata, but being in the South 24 Parganas has its own rhythm. The post office and police station are right there in Baruipur, which makes things easy to find. My place is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It is a simple house where I have carved out some space for my work. You won't find any corporate branding or big logos here. It is just a desk, some chairs, and my equipment. I have been here a long time and the locals all know where the Sardar house is. The pin code is 700144. Getting to the city takes some time on the train, so I prefer staying here and doing my business locally. The air is a bit fresher here than in the middle of Kolkata. Sometimes my neighbors drop by for a chat while I am working. It is a very informal environment. I don't have any grand plans to grow into a massive firm. I just want to keep doing what I do from my home base. It is honest work and this location suits me perfectly. If you are coming from the station, it is a short rickshaw ride to Dakshin Roy Palli. I usually have a few plants on the porch that I look after when the sun goes down.
