Simplex Inf. Ltd. is based in Uttar Kalikapur, near Dakshin Barasat in the South 24 Parganas district. Our address is right in the village area with the 743372 pin code. It is a rural spot, and we have been operating here for quite a while now. Because we work on infrastructure, our days are filled with planning out projects and managing workers. The office is just a plain room with some old wooden desks and a lot of files. We don't go in for anything fancy or modern. Most of the people who work here are from the surrounding villages. It is a long way from the big city of Kolkata, so things move a bit slower out here. During the wet season, we deal with a lot of mud and rain, which can make the infrastructure work quite difficult. We just take things as they come and try to stay on schedule. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go for our breaks. It is a very down-to-earth place to work. We aren't some big corporate giant; we are just a local firm doing our part in the district. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out, but we just keep going. It is mostly about keeping the machinery in good shape and making sure the work is solid. The village air is better than the city anyway, even with the bugs and the dust.
