We are based out in the Kalikapur area of Uttar-Rai-Pur, down in Budge-Budge, Kolkata. It’s a bit of a way out from the center of the city, but that’s just how it is for us. Score Information Technologies Ltd. has been here for a while now. The area has its own pace, a bit slower than the main parts of Kolkata, which isn't always a bad thing when you have a lot to do. We’re located in a part of town where everyone seems to know each other’s business. The roads can be a bit narrow and bumpy, especially after it rains hard, but we’re used to it. Our office is a simple place. We don't have any of those modern office features you see in the big IT parks. It’s just a practical space where we sit and handle our daily tasks. Most of us live nearby or take the local transport to get here every morning. It’s a bit of a journey but it’s just part of the routine. We don’t try to act like we’re something we aren’t. We’re just a local business trying to do our job well without making a big fuss about it. The team is small and we’ve worked together for years. It’s more like a family than a corporate office environment. We just keep working through whatever comes our way. Being out in Budge-Budge gives us a different perspective on things. It’s real.
