We set up R K Hitech Centre Pvt Limited over in Canning Town. It’s an interesting spot because we are right by the Central Soil Salinity Research Institute in South 24 Parganas. The air is different out here, a bit salty sometimes, and the ground tells its own stories. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of people. We’re just a small group trying to keep things running smoothly. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the roads and the people. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and we have to wait for things to load, which can be annoying when you have a lot to do. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who stop by. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. You just come in and talk to whoever is at the desk. We handle the technical side of things the best we can. Sometimes the equipment acts up, but we usually find a way to fix it without too much fuss. It's a lot of manual work and checking things twice. We don't really use big words to describe what we do. It’s just work. We show up early, leave when the job is finished, and try to keep our neighbors happy. It’s a quiet life for the most part, but we like the pace.
