We are located over at 23 10 Pranabananda Road in the Garia area of Kolkata. Our setup is inside a residential building, Flat No D3 to be exact. It feels more like a home than a regular office, which is fine by us. You have to walk up the stairs since the building is older, and the hallway can be a bit dim in the evenings. Inside the flat, we have converted the main rooms into workspaces with tables and computers. There are wires running along the baseboards and a few power strips tucked under the desks. The fans are almost always spinning to keep the humidity from getting too bad, though Kolkata summers are still tough. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea several times a day. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep the noise down when we're coming and going. The view from the window is just other apartment blocks and some laundry hanging out to dry. It's a quiet place to get work done without the distractions of a big commercial district. We don't have a big lobby or a sign on the street, so most people who visit are coming for a specific reason and already know which bell to ring. It's just a regular group of us working away in a Garia apartment.
