Starting out on Dr B C Roy Road every day has become a bit of a habit for us. Our spot is located in Dakshin Jagaddal, so getting here through the Kolkata traffic can take a while if you don't leave early enough. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the tea shop down the street opening its shutters. We don't work out of a big fancy glass building or anything like that. It is just a normal office where we handle the paperwork and talk to the people who stop by for a chat. Dealing with the West Bengal humidity in the summer is always a challenge, but the fans we have in the corner do a decent enough job. Sometimes the power goes out, and when that happens, we just take a break until it comes back on. Most folks around here know our name by now. It’s mostly about keeping the files in order and making sure we answer the phones when they ring. Big formal meetings aren't really our thing. Most problems get sorted out over a quick conversation near someone's desk. When the postman arrives around noon, the place gets a bit more active for an hour or so. Once you step inside, it is a quiet enough place to get things done. We keep things simple here at C Marc India Pvt Ltd. There isn't much else to say, it’s just our workplace and it suits us fine for now.
