Sri Ganesh Fly Ash Bricks

Out in Kalapani Village, we’ve got Sri Ganesh Fly Ash Bricks. We are located right near the Utkal Gramya Bank, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Bargarh Tehsil is our home. Working with fly ash is a bit different than the traditional clay bricks. It’s a more modern way of doing things, but the work is still just as heavy. We have a small crew here in Kalapani. Most days start with the sound of the mixers going. It’s a noisy place to be during the day. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a few of us making sure the machines are running and the bricks are drying properly. We spend a lot of time in the yard, checking the inventory. People from the surrounding villages come by often. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs bricks, we see what we have and get it loaded. Sometimes we run behind schedule because of a machine part failing or a power cut. That’s life in the village for you. We don’t try to act like a big fancy company. We are just local people making bricks for local buildings. Being near the post office and the bank makes it feel like we're right in the middle of things. We just keep working hard every day. It's a lot of grey powder and hard work, but we are used to it now.
