Shree Krishna Bricks

We have been running Shree Krishna Bricks for quite some years now. If you head over to Nagen Pali Chowk in Bargarh, you will see our setup right there. It is not a fancy place, just a regular brick kiln where we spend most of our daylight hours. Dealing with clay and heat is what we do every day. My family and a few workers from the nearby villages handle the stacking and the firing process. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up around the Post-Dist area, but that is just part of the job. People usually come by when they are starting to build a new wall or maybe a small house in the neighborhood. We do not have a big office or a reception desk. Usually, someone is just walking around the yard checking the quality of the latest batch. The weather really dictates how much we can get done in a week. When it rains, everything slows down quite a bit. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the bricks are hard enough for whatever project someone is working on. It is honest work, even if it is tiring. We have seen a lot of changes around Bargarh over the years, but the way we make our bricks has stayed pretty much the same. You can find us easily enough if you are in the area. We are usually around from early morning until the sun starts to go down.
