Radha Krishna Bricks

Our place, Radha Krishna Bricks, is over in V.S.S Nagar, specifically in Ward No.-09. We are quite easy to spot because we are right near the Lic Office and the Bargarh Police Station. Being close to those landmarks helps people find their way here without too much trouble. The yard is usually filled with the sound of work. We have been at this location for a good bit of time. Every morning, the day starts with getting the site ready. Bargarh can get quite warm, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. There are usually several rows of bricks drying in the sun. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, with clay and sand everywhere, but that is the nature of the business. We don't have a corporate setup. It is just us, some local laborers, and a lot of manual work. People stop by all the time since we are so close to the station. We spend our days loading trucks and checking the batches. It is a repetitive job, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing things instead of making bricks. That’s just how it is. We appreciate the community here in V.S.S Nagar. It feels good to be part of the local landscape and to see our bricks being used in houses just down the road. It makes the long days in the sun feel worth it when you see a new wall going up nearby.
