Bedi International School

You can find us over at Bedi International School on Pilibhit Bye Pass Road in Bareilly. We are right near the Dental College, so the area stays quite busy throughout the day. The school has been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we have seen the city grow up around us. It’s a large campus, and we have a lot of rooms to look after. The office is usually a bit of a mess with stacks of textbooks and admission forms everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don't have a fancy reception area with a coffee machine; we just have some plastic chairs for parents to sit on while they wait. The teachers here are mostly people who live in Bareilly and have been with us for years. We spend a lot of time making sure the school buses are on schedule because the traffic on the bye-pass road can be quite unpredictable. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, and you’ll hear the hum of the generator in the background. It’s just a normal part of life here. During the lunch break, the sound of kids playing in the field is quite loud, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don’t do big marketing speeches; we just focus on making sure the classrooms are ready and the kids have their books. It's a simple operation at the end of the day, really.
