Umiya Computer

Umiya Computer is based over in Kathor Purna Nagar. It’s a small shop filled with boxes and cables. We started this place because we liked messing around with machines. Now we spend the whole day looking at screens or trying to fix things that stopped working. Kathor Purna Nagar is a quiet enough spot, though the traffic picks up in the evenings. Most people who come in are from just a few streets away. We have some old benches for people to sit on while they wait. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we're too busy with the hardware to worry about that. Sometimes the smell of solder is quite strong in the back room. We keep a lot of spare parts in the drawers, mostly things we've kept over the years just in case someone needs a specific screw or a wire. It’s not a shiny showroom. It's more of a workspace where things actually get done. We drink a lot of coffee while we work. If you walk past, you'll probably see someone hunched over a keyboard or talking to a customer about a broken monitor. We've been at this location for a while now, so the locals know they can just drop by. It’s a basic life, but it keeps us busy. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a computer shop in the neighborhood where things get fixed properly.
