Transcend Infrastructure Ltd is over at 163, Jagat Berh in the Sreepally area of Burdwan. The address has some weird characters in the official records, but it is just a normal spot in West Bengal. Our office is a place where we deal with a lot of construction plans and infrastructure details. There are usually rolls of blueprints leaning against the walls and a thick layer of files on every flat surface. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but we know exactly where everything is located. The street outside is usually full of people and local shops, so there’s always something going on. We have a few old wooden chairs for visitors and some heavy desks that have been here since the company started. It gets quite humid in Burdwan, so the office can feel a bit stuffy in the afternoons. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or a big sales team. Most of our work comes from being known in the local area for a long time. We spend a lot of time visiting project sites and then coming back here to write up our notes. It’s a simple, no-nonsense kind of business where the focus is on the technical side of building things. The staff is mostly local folks who have been in this line of work for years. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
