Retired Executive

This isn't your typical office building or corporate headquarters. We are located in Sodepur village, specifically in the Kumor Para area. It is quite close to the Shiv Mandir, which most people in the locality use as a landmark. Being in the Burdwan district of West Bengal, things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities like Kolkata. We operate out of a quiet and peaceful spot near the temple. The name "Retired Executive" gives you an idea of where we are coming from. It is about taking the experience and knowledge gained over many decades and putting it to some use. We don't have a big staff or a fancy reception desk with a phone system. It is much more of a personal, small-scale setup. People from the village and some of the nearby towns sometimes stop by to talk. We spend a lot of our time on the front porch or in the small room we use for work. It is very quiet here, except for when there is a festival or a puja at the temple nearby. We handle various bits of consultancy and give advice based on what we have learned throughout our long careers. It is not a high-pressure environment at all. We just take things as they come one day at a time. The air is much fresher here than in the industrial areas. We have a lot of books and old files around us.
