Steel Park Cricket Academy

You will find Steel Park Cricket Academy at Steel Park in Bidhannagar, which is in the West Burdwan district. We spend almost all of our time outside on the field. It’s a good piece of land, and we’ve done our best to keep the pitches in decent shape. Clubhouses and fancy facilities aren't part of our setup. There is just a small room where we keep the gear and a few benches for people to sit on. The sun can be quite harsh out here, so we have a few umbrellas that we move around. We are just a group of people who love cricket and wanted to have a place to play in Bidhannagar. A big board of directors isn't something we have. The coaches are just guys who have been playing since they were kids. Money for new equipment is often tight, so we take really good care of what we have. Most of the kids who come here live nearby. It’s a nice community feeling. Social media managers and websites aren't things we use. People just hear about us and show up at the park. Turning everyone into a star isn't the promise. We just want to teach the basics and have some good games. It’s a dusty, tiring job sometimes, but being out on the grass at Steel Park makes it worth it.
