Rajlaxmi Trading

Being over here at the Petropole Check-Post means there is always something moving on the road. Rajlaxmi Trading is located right in the thick of it in the Bangaon area. Since we are in the 24 Parganas North district right near the border, there is a lot of truck traffic and noise all day long. We do a lot of trading and moving various goods back and forth. It is a messy business sometimes with all the paperwork and the customs stuff going on nearby. Our office is just a simple place where we can sit down and get the manifests and receipts sorted out. We do not have any fancy signs or big displays to attract attention. People who need our services already know where we are. The dust from the road settles on everything, so we are always having to wipe down the desks and chairs. It is a lot of waiting around for things to clear the post and then a big rush to get things loaded onto the trucks. We have gotten used to the rhythm of the border life. Some days are slow and quiet when nothing is moving, but most of the time it is pretty hectic. We just try to keep things moving so nobody gets stuck for too long at the check-post. We are not trying to be some huge company, just trying to do our part in the trading chain. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do.
