Diya Enterprise

Diya Enterprise is our small place over at 18, Manaranjan Pally. We are right on Taki Road in the 24 Parganas North district. It’s a quiet enough spot most days, though the road can get busy with buses and rickshaws passing by. We started this because we wanted something of our own in the neighborhood. The office is small, and we have a lot of stuff crammed into the corners. It’s not organized like those big corporate places, but we know where everything is. If you ask for a specific receipt, it might take a minute to find, but it’s there somewhere. My cousin helps out sometimes, and we usually have the radio playing in the background. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk with whoever stops by for a chat. Other days, we’re running around trying to finish everything. The rain can be a problem here; sometimes the road out front gets a bit muddy and slows things down. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign when they drive past Manaranjan Pally. It’s just a local business run by local people. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make a living and help out the folks around here. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough.
