Rr Brick Field

Rr Brick Field is situated over by Rani Bazar Chauraha, Ramnagar, Near Indira Hospital. It is a very busy area because of the hospital and the main crossroads, so there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking in the background. We are right in the middle of all that action. It can be a bit of a headache to get the larger trucks in and out of the Rani Bazar Chauraha when the traffic is heavy, but we have figured out the best times to do it over the years. We are a small group of people just trying to make a living. We don't have any polished mission statements or corporate goals. Our day mostly consists of moving bricks around and talking to people who stop by because they saw our sign near the hospital. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of the city and the dust from our own yard. We have a small table where we drink tea and talk about the day’s work when things quiet down for a minute. It’s an imperfect place, with stacks that aren't always perfectly straight and an office that has too much paper in it. But it is our place, and we have been in Ramnagar long enough to feel like part of the furniture. We just do the work and try to be fair.
