Our place is over in Attur Village, right at the Rajanna House area. It’s actually Virupaxayya. S 50 if you’re looking at the map. This part of Yelahanka is quite different from the busier city center. We deal with electronics here every day. It’s mostly just us working on repairs or helping people find the right parts for their setups. The shop is tucked away, so it’s mostly locals from around Bangalore-064 who come by. We don’t have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. People bring in all sorts of stuff, from old radios to newer gadgets. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive, but we do our best to keep things moving. The workbench is usually covered in tools and tiny screws. It’s not the neatest place, but it works for what we need. We’ve seen the village change quite a bit over the years. More houses are popping up, but we’re still here in the same spot. We like the quiet pace of life here. If someone has a problem with their gear, they know where to find us. We don’t really use fancy language to explain things. We just tell you what’s wrong and how we can fix it. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing a device light up again after it’s been dead for a while. It makes the long hours feel worthwhile for us.
