Wep Peripherals Ltd. is tucked away on the second floor of the Basappa Complex on Lavelle Road. It’s a central location, which is nice, though parking around here is almost impossible most days. The office itself is pretty functional. We’ve got our shelves of equipment and our rows of desks. We’ve been at 40/1a for a while now, and the building has that old-school Bangalore feel to it. It’s not one of those glass skyscrapers you see in the newer parts of the city. We deal with hardware and peripherals, so there’s often boxes stacked in the corners or someone tinkering with a printer. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how we work. We don’t have a PR team or a fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone busy at a desk or on the phone. We like the neighborhood, especially being so close to the parks and the older shops. The pace here is steady. We don't really go for the high-pressure corporate vibe. It’s more about getting the orders right and making sure the equipment works. Sometimes we take a long lunch when things are quiet. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people who know their way around computer parts. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on Lavelle Road, but we’re still here, doing our thing on the second floor.
