Hard Disk Shop

This is the Hard Disk Shop. Our place is up on the 4th floor, unit 402, inside the Golden Park Aura building. You can find us in the TCP Layout near Chandapura, just off Hosur Road. Finding the right entrance is often a bit tricky the first time because the layout is quite big. Storage drives are what we deal with mostly. If a drive has lost data or is making weird clicking noises, people bring them to us to see what can be done. It’s a quiet office environment. There isn't much to look at besides desks and some recovery machines humming along. A lot of time is spent staring at computer screens. Because the traffic on Hosur Road is always bad, we tell people to plan ahead before driving out. We aren't a big retail store with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s just a place where we work on disks. Sometimes old drives are just sitting around for spare parts. Having been here for a while, most people find us through word of mouth. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. Being honest about whether a drive can actually be saved is important to us. There is no point lying about it to people. We close up around 7 usually. Building security knows us well. If the elevator is out, it's a very long walk up to the 4th floor.
