Tyco Electronics

Our location at Devappa Layout is out near Jalahalli Post. It’s number 63 on the street. It’s one of those spots that feels a bit removed from the heart of the city, which has its pros and cons. The commute can be a bit long depending on where you're coming from, but it’s definitely quieter. Tyco Electronics operates out of this building, and we’ve made it our own over the years. It’s a practical space. We don’t have a big marketing team or a shiny showroom. It’s mostly just us, our tools, and the stuff we need to get through the day's tasks. The layout of the neighborhood is a bit winding, so we often have to give directions over the phone to people who are coming by for the first time. Ramchandrapur is a decent area once you get used to it. We see the postman every day, and that’s about as much excitement as we get sometimes. We stay busy with the technical side of things. It’s a lot of checking orders and making sure the electronic components are handled properly. We don’t really do the whole corporate culture thing here. We just work, talk about the weekend, and try to keep things moving forward. It’s an honest day’s work in a quiet corner of Bangalore. We like it that way because we can actually get things done without being interrupted by the constant noise of the main city.
