You can find us at 15 A St Marks Road, in Flat No 1 on the first floor of The Presidency. It’s a well-known building in a very busy part of the city. Being on St Marks Road means there’s always something happening outside, with plenty of cafes and shops nearby. Our office is a bit different from the flashy places around us; it’s more of a functional space for drug research and lab work. Since we’re on the first floor, we don’t have to deal with long lift waits, which is nice. The flat has been converted into an office, so it has a slightly domestic feel with smaller rooms instead of one big open hall. We’ve packed in a lot of equipment and files into the space we have. It can get a bit cramped when we have a full crew in, but we manage just fine. The lighting is a bit dim in some of the back rooms, and the air conditioning struggles a bit when it gets really hot outside in April. We aren’t really a walk-in kind of place, so it’s usually just the staff and the occasional delivery person coming through. We spend our days tucked away here, working through our research projects and keeping up with the lab schedules. It’s a steady, quiet kind of work in the middle of a very loud neighborhood.
