We operate out of the Standard Metalwarks Camp in Andheri East. It’s an old industrial patch, and you can tell by looking at the buildings. We’ve been here for years. Our focus is on importing and exporting various items. The space is more of a warehouse than an office. We have crates and boxes stacked up pretty high. It’s dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it is in a place like this. Andheri East is always moving, with the airport nearby and all the traffic. We get deliveries at all hours. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys handling the paperwork and the loading. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just do our jobs and make sure the goods get where they need to go. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet. We drink a lot of tea to stay going. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a generator that kicks in. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady. We know the local truck drivers and the guys at the gate. It feels like a small village inside the camp. We don’t really bother with decorations. The walls are a bit peeling, but the work gets done correctly. That’s what matters to us at the end of the day. It is just what we do.
