Our little place is located at 117/1 V.R.N Lane, right by the S.P. Road Cross. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always packed with people and vehicles. The lane is pretty narrow, so getting goods in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We’ve been trading from this spot for quite a while now. It’s a small shop, mostly filled up with boxes and stock from floor to ceiling. There isn't much room to move around, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a bit dark inside even during the day, so we always have the lights on. The noise from S.P. Road never really stops. You hear horns and shouting all day long. We get a lot of people dropping in just to ask for directions or to see what we have. We aren't big on fancy displays. We just have what we have on the shelves. Most of our day is spent checking inventory or talking to the delivery guys. It’s a simple business. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to keep the books straight. My father used to say this area has the best tea in the city, so we usually have a cup or two from the stall at the corner. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy life here at the cross, but we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves anywhere else. It feels like home.
