You can find Solectron Ems India Ltd over at 227A Pillayar Koilst in Pandyan Nagar. We are based in Gudiyattam, in the Vellore district. It's a decent area and we've been here for a good bit. The building isn't too hard to find if you know the street. We do a lot of electronics assembly and stuff like that. It’s mostly hands-on work. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short walk to get in every morning. The space inside is mostly taken up by worktables and components. We don't really have a reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. If you come in, you'll probably just see someone busy with a soldering iron. We like it that way because it keeps us focused on the tasks. Sometimes the parts arrive late, and things get a bit backed up, but we manage. It’s just how it goes in this kind of trade. We don't do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from someone else in town. The Tamilnadu heat can be something else in the afternoons, but we get used to it. We keep things straightforward. There's no need for big speeches about what we do. We just work on the boards and pieces until they’re right. That's the daily routine for us here in Pandyan Nagar.
