I set up this small space on Magadi Main Road, specifically at number 36 1, to help out with legal matters. People call me Rajanna, and I’ve been practicing law for a good number of years now. It is a busy road, always cars and noise outside, but once you step inside it is quiet enough to talk. I don't use big fancy words to confuse anybody because law is already complicated enough for the average person. Most people come in worried about something, and I just try to look at the papers and tell them what can be done. It’s not a huge law firm with marble floors or anything like that. I’ve got my books, my desk, and a few chairs for whoever walks in. Sometimes I am at the court all day and the office stays locked, but usually, I am here catching up on files. Being an advocate means a lot of reading and waiting, which I’ve gotten used to over time. I grew up around here so I understand the problems local folks face. It’s a lot of work, and some nights I stay late just to finish one document. I don't promise miracles, just that I'll look into the case and do the job right. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy. The desk I use is an old wooden one that I've had since I started. It’s got a few scratches and the drawers sometimes stick. Magadi Main Road is always full of life. I don't have a big marketing budget. My work speaks for itself, usually through word of mouth. I think law should be accessible, not something that scares people away with high prices.
