Raj International

Avenue Road is a place like no other in Bangalore. It is crowded and noisy and you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. We are at 519 and we have been part of this chaos for years. Raj International is tucked into one of these old buildings where space is tight and every inch counts. We spend our time managing orders and talking to people who come from all over the state. It is not a quiet office job. There is always the sound of carts being pushed and people shouting outside. We deal with a lot of different goods and the paperwork can get quite heavy sometimes. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and you see us working at our desks surrounded by files and boxes. Some days the heat is a bit much and the electricity goes out but we just carry on. It is the kind of place where you know your neighbors and you share a quick chat while the tea boy does his rounds. We have seen the city change so much but Avenue Road stays pretty much the same. It is a tough way to make a living but it is what we know. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just do our work and go home to our families when the day is done. The street finally quiets down long after we have left.
