Our office is located over in Kalyan Nagar, specifically at 831 on 2A Cross. It’s part of the I Block area. If you know Bangalore, you know this neighborhood has changed a lot lately. We go by Rail India Techno Economic Services Ltd. We mostly focus on the technical side of things when it comes to the rail lines and how the economy fits into that whole picture. It is a lot of data and looking at maps and figures all day long. The office is fairly quiet, which helps when you’re trying to concentrate on complex railway schemes. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us just commute in, grab a tea, and start on the day’s tasks. There isn't any big sign outside or anything like that, so you have to look for the house number carefully. We handle a variety of consulting work, mostly helping out with the bigger infrastructure stuff that keeps the trains running where they need to go. It’s practical work. We don’t spend time on fancy speeches or big meetings; we just sit at our desks and get through the pile of work on the table. Living and working in the 560043 area means we’re used to the pace of the city. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. It’s just a normal workplace doing its part for the rail industry, nothing more than that.
