I’m Radhakrishnan S S, and I work out of my place at 954, 3rd Cross, in the 1st Block of Kalyan Nagar. It’s a quiet residential area mostly, which I prefer because it lets me focus on the work at hand without all the city noise. I’ve been here for several years now, and the neighbors are all familiar faces. The office is just a part of the house that I’ve set aside for business. It’s not a big corporate setup with a reception desk or a waiting room full of magazines. Usually, it’s just me and maybe a visitor or two coming by to discuss things. I find that people appreciate the casual atmosphere here. We sit down, have some coffee, and talk through whatever needs doing. I started this on my own because I wanted to offer a more personal touch that you don't get with the bigger firms. Dealing with the 1st Block traffic can be a bit of a pain in the evenings, but otherwise, it’s a great location. Most of my day is spent on the computer or talking on the phone with clients. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks to get work; people usually find me through friends or former colleagues. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and I enjoy the independence it gives me. Kalyan Nagar has changed a lot, but my little corner stays pretty much the same.
