We are over in Rajajinagar at Shaki Naka, specifically at 50 F. R R Alutech Pvt Ltd has been here for a bit now. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there is always the sound of metal or machines nearby. Our unit is a bit dusty because of the work, but that’s just how it goes in this line of business. The office part is partitioned off with some glass and aluminum frames, which makes sense given what we do. It’s not a place for fancy suits or polished floors. We have some heavy-duty desks and a lot of samples lying around the place. The overhead lights are quite bright, which is good for looking at the details of the materials. Most days, I’m out on the floor checking on things and then coming back to the desk to handle the paperwork. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, but the big exhaust fans help move the air around. We have a small area for storing tools and a rack for all the documents we need to keep track of. It’s a very hands-on environment. People come by to talk about projects, and we usually just lean against the workbench to chat. There isn't any corporate talk here; we just say things as they are. It’s a solid, hardworking space where we just get on with the job.
