You can find our shop at unit 35 in the GIDC Industrial Estate over in Marathahalli. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly the prettiest place to visit. There are a lot of warehouses and small factories all around us. We deal mostly in electrical components and supplies for commercial use. Our space is mostly taken up by heavy racks holding wires, switches, and industrial lighting. It’s a bit of a climb to get to the top shelves, and we use an old metal ladder that creaks. The floor is made of rough concrete and usually has some dust on it from the surrounding factories. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see something, we just pull it out of the box for you. The office part is just a small wooden cabin built into one corner of the warehouse. It’s where we handle the invoices and talk to the guys who come in to buy parts. Marathahalli has changed a lot, and the traffic around the estate can be quite bad in the evenings. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other business owners nearby. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We just supply the parts that people need to keep their own businesses running. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking stock, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We like it this way.
