Our office is on Krishnarajendra Road at A 22B. It’s an old part of Bangalore, so the buildings have a bit of character and sometimes the plumbing is a bit temperamental. We’ve got stacks of manuals and journals everywhere because that’s what we deal with. People come in and out for meetings or to pick up materials. It’s a very practical space. There are a few tables pushed together to make a conference area and some old cabinets for filing. KR Road is always busy with buses and people walking to the markets, so there is a constant hum of activity outside. We spend our time organizing sessions and talking to members about their own workplaces. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the paperwork and making sure the forum runs smoothly for everyone involved. The lighting isn't the best, and the fans squeak a little when they are on the high setting. We mostly just focus on the task at hand. It feels more like a community center than a corporate office. We’ve been here for a while, and the routine of the road has become part of our day. It’s just a simple place for people to gather and talk about how to do things better. We keep the kettle going and the files moving.
