Q Sonics N D T Services is over in Rajaji Nagar, specifically at Victoria Layout 238A 1. Our work is pretty technical, involving non-destructive testing, which basically means we check stuff to make sure it’s safe without actually breaking it. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with tools and parts waiting to be looked at. It’s not a clean, polished environment like you might see in a movie. It’s a real workshop. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty most days. The equipment we use is heavy and some of it is a bit old, but it still works just fine for what we need. We’ve been in this layout for quite a while, so we know the neighbors well. It’s a decent place to work, though it gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us bent over a machine or writing down notes on a clipboard. We just take the jobs as they come in and try to be thorough. We aren’t interested in being the biggest company out there, we just want to do the work right and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a straightforward life here at the shop, and we like the routine of it.
