Psychology Counselor

The office is located at 91 3 in Puttennahalli Palya. If you know JP Nagar 7th Phase, you know it can get a bit crowded with all the new buildings and traffic lately. We have been here as a Psychology Counselor for a while. It’s a straightforward setup. There is a small waiting area and a room where the counseling happens. We don't have a big staff, just the basics to keep the place running. Most days involve a lot of listening. People come in with all sorts of things they want to talk about. Some are stressed about work, others have family stuff going on. We just provide the space for them to say it out loud. The building is easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number. We don't have a huge glowing sign out front. It's more of a local spot. Bangalore has changed a lot, but this corner of Puttennahalli feels a bit more grounded. We try to keep the sessions on time, but sometimes things run over because people need to talk. That’s just part of the job. We don't use any complicated systems. Just a notebook for appointments and a phone that rings more often than it should. It can be tiring work, sitting and listening all day, but it feels right. We keep the curtains drawn to keep the sun out during the hot afternoons. It makes the room feel a bit more private and helps people feel more at ease.
