Prayas Family Councelling

I've been working here at Prayas Family Councelling for a while now. Our place is tucked away in Tasker Town along Begur Road, and it's usually quite a busy spot most days. People come in from all over the neighborhood when they’re having a tough time at home or just need someone to talk through things with. It's not a fancy office, just some chairs and a quiet space where people can feel a bit of peace. We spend a lot of our time listening and trying to help folks figure out their own paths. Sometimes it’s parents worried about their kids, other times it's couples who aren't seeing eye to eye. We don’t have all the answers, but we try to be there. The traffic outside on Begur Road can get pretty loud in the evenings, but inside we try to keep it calm. We’ve seen all sorts of situations walk through the door. It’s a lot of emotional work, and some days are definitely harder than others when the stories get heavy. But being part of the community here feels right. We know the local shops and the people who walk past every day. It’s just how we do things here, keeping it local and honest. We don’t do big speeches or anything like that. We just open the door in the morning and see who needs a bit of help today. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy and we like it that way.
