Praras Bio Sciences Pvt Ltd

Out here in Konankunte, it’s a bit quieter than the center of Bangalore. Praras Bio Sciences is based at 21 10A. It sounds like a big name, but we are just a group of people working with samples and data all day. The lab smells a bit like cleaning supplies and chemicals, which I guess is normal for this kind of work. I usually get in early before the traffic on the main road gets too crazy. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and testing things out. It’s not like the movies; there aren't glowing liquids everywhere. Mostly just clear tubes and a lot of patience. The breakroom has a fridge that hums too loud, but we like it there. We’ve been in this building for a few years. The walls are that off-white color that doesn't show the age too much. We do our work, fill out the logs, and make sure the equipment is calibrated. Sometimes the power goes out for a second and we have to wait for the backup to kick in. It’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be some massive tech giant. We just focus on the science part and try to get the results right. If you come by, you’ll see our small sign out front. It’s a practical place for practical work. We eat our lunch together most days and talk about stuff other than science. It keeps us sane.
