Prakash Electronics And Electricals

Our shop, Prakash Electronics And Electricals, is located in Yeshwantpur on 1st Main, Tumkur Road in Gurgunta Palya. It’s a bit of a crowded area with a lot of shops packed together. We sell all sorts of small electrical parts and some basic electronics too. The shelves are pretty full, sometimes a bit disorganized if we’ve had a busy morning. People come in looking for specific wires or switches that they can't find elsewhere. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so I know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s not a big shiny store; it’s more of a place where you can come and get practical advice on how to fix a light or a fan. We do some repairs in the back when we have the time. There is usually a radio playing in the background, and the smell of solder is often in the air. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running at full speed. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out. It’s a simple life, running a shop and making sure people get the right parts for their homes. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. Most of the time we are just sorting through bins of screws or testing some old light fixtures to see if they still work and can be used.
