Our office for Poet Consultants Pvt Ltd is at 338 A in Basaveshwara Nagar. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We don't have any flashy signs or neon lights. It’s just a quiet building where we sit and work through our files. Most days, it’s just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. We’ve been in this part of Basaveshwara Nagar for several years now. The neighbors are nice, and the tea stall down the street is where we usually go for breaks. We aren't the type of company that holds big, fancy events. We just prefer to stay focused on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty, especially in the corners we don't use much. We have a few old desks that have been moved around more times than I can count. It’s a small team, so we all know each other’s habits. There’s no big hierarchy here; we just help each other out when someone gets stuck. People find us because they need someone who knows the ropes. We don't promise the world, we just do the work we said we’d do. It’s a simple way of running a business, but it keeps us going. We usually lock up around six, unless there's something urgent. It’s not a glamorous life, but it works for us and we like the routine.
